Hello Everyone!
This week's arrangement is "At Calvary." It was requested by someone at everything dulcimer last week. I hope you all enjoy it. The words were written by an American poet named William Newell and Daniel Towner wrote the musical portion of the hymn. They met at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. While walking from one class to the next, Newell began writting this hymn while thinking about the sacarfice inwhich Jesus made for us. He quickly showed Daniel Towner the words he wrote when they were completed and Towner wrote a tune for him. Daniel Towner was a song leader at Moody Bible Institute at the time. I hope you all enjoy this hymn.
Just a heads up, the final steps in completing the Dulcimer hymnal: Volume 1 will be done this week and will be ready to order very soon. Please keep in touch, I have all the emails of all of you that have told me you wanted a copy, and if any other people want a copy, please email me and I will inform you asap when it is ready to ship.
-Ben
